Now with the background plot, it's kind of annoying since they only do something with that at the end of the book, so it's always overshadowed by the main story. I guess this book was good because it revealed more information about the past which I guess will be kind of important going further, where we are given more information on what exactly happened. Which made it feel slow to me, since there was nothing to really up the pace and when there was something it just kind of ended abruptly. Anyway, the focus of this book was one that I thought would be an unlikely main character, which kind of led to a dull listen, since the character was kind of dull.

This book revolved around what I thought would have been a background character. So, I know each book revolves around a different set of characters, and the first two books revolved around the NHIC so there was a lot more action going on which made them kind of fast pace.
